To improve
literacy, promote education, create an environment where local
artists will thrive, increase exposure to fine arts and
literature, and unlock the artistic and educational potential of
every Pittsburg resident in a productive and inspiring way.
We are a
non-profit community arts organization that encourages
self-expression through visual art, dance, music, theater, and
literacy. We believe that art is an essential part of any
thriving community. We believe that art lifts the spirit and
raises the collective consciousness of the citizens of
Pittsburg. We collaborate with artists and artistic
organizations in an effort to facilitate mutual support,
recognition, and the exchanging of ideas. We work to encourage a
thriving community of artists and appreciation of art within
Pittsburg. We facilitate classes, lectures, performances,
and exhibits in an effort to enrich the lives of all citizens of
Pittsburg.
